new aerial point for bt vision

hi i am wanting to get bt vision installed but the only aerial socket i can see is far away from the tv! i don't want to run untidy wires is there anyway i can get a new socket installed in the new location?

Yes. You can have a new socket installed pretty much wherever you like, depending on the amount of redecorating you're happy to do. If it can be installed on the other side of an external wall then the downlead can run straight down the side of the house into the back of the socket. Otherwise, depending on the type of wall, it may be necessary to chase out the wall for the cable and then make good, which will involve plastering and then painting or papering as necessary.

You haven't given us a lot to go on, so that's about the best I can do.
