New alarm connection to phone line

Hi

I'm in process of wiring up my alarm panel to the phone line and I just need to confirm something. Should I be connecting the alarm itself to the phone line by the 2 connectors marked 'line' (is there a way round for the cores?) and the rest of the house to other connector - in this case marked 'set', again is there a way round? And I presume my DSL filter goes between the alarm and the master socket?

Sorted - the 2 outer BT cables need to be connected - the phone line still works!
