We have just replaced our ensuite bath in a modern house. It is 1700mm long and noticed on removal of the old that it was very tight and the stud wall had been chopped out slightly.
On measuring gap it is actually 1695mm, and the new bath a slightly different shape, so we have squashed it in above the chased out plaster. Although the fit is very snug and no movements we were worried it might cause the bath to fracture when full?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
