After going through these forums I installed my first ever extractor fan!
I bought an inline extractor which could pump 250m3.
I took onboard the issue about fans that were not always up to the job. I sized the room and used the principle of 15 changes of air an hour.
The bathroom has very little condensation now, if any at all. I am very pleased.
My tip? Get a fan that will do over what is required and you won't go far wrong. Inline is so quiet, the one I bought was 24db from Toolstation.
Also, inline works better as I wanted a ceiling fan as the walls are a metre thick! And I was concerned about the weight of the fan on the ceiling in case it dropped into the bath!!
I would strongly suggest anyone undertaking this task to read as much of these section as possible, it proved invaluable to me, thank you DIYNOT!
