Hello,
I know there are similar questions previously, but would like to ask anyway:
I am replacing my current bathroom extractor with a new MANROSE CFD200s (with no timer). The Present extractor comes on when the light is operated from a light switch outside the room. There is fused switch.

I was going to just simply replace the olf fan with the newer fan.
Instructions say that a Double Pole Fused Spur must be used and fitted with a 3 amp fuse.......
How do I do this? I was hpoing there would have been a diagram in the box. There isn't.
Fan has two terminals. Neutral and Permanent Live.
Any advice would be most appreaciated.
Thanks ever so much

where does the fused switch come into it?

is this not your double pole switched spur?

Hi,

the current fan is supplied from a light switch. Infact is a double switch for two lights. only one light is used to turn on fan.

The instructions on manufacturers box for new fan said this:

" .....can be connected to the light switch so that the fan will start when the light is on. A double pole fused spur having a contact separation of 3mm in all poles must be used and fitted with a 3 amp fuse... etc. "

This is the bit I'm not sure about . The current fan comes off light switch but no where can I see and 3 amp fused spur. Just a light switch.

Thanks
