Sorry to ask again, but don't want to screw this job up for ma in law.
1. She has bought a bath /sink/toilet from Bee and Queue, so the taps (new) will be current size - is that 22mm or 3/4"?
2. The house is an ex council of circa 1960, so I think the the larger bore pipe be 3/4" not 22mm.
The question - If the taps are 22mm, do I need a 22mm to 3/4" converter to connect up (I was going to go tap - 22mm stub - converter - original pipe)?
or will a 22mm compression joint take account of any difference?

Thanks in advance..

Not quite sure what Kev had in mind.

If you use a 22mm compression fitting on 3/4" pipe you need a different olive - they're sold separately, (at what always seems a high price!).

If you're going to use solder fittings they will not fit, you do have to use a converter to go to 22mm pipe.
