New boiler / controls not working correctly

Hi all, hopefully someone can shed some light on my problem. I had a new glow worm heat only boiler fitted 2 months ago, I have just noticed, as I am home all day on hols, during the day with the boiler switched on, stat is calling for heat but boiler is not heating CH, until I run enough hot water to make the boiler fire to heat the separate hot water cylinder. I have a 3 port valve, and all the controls are the originals used before boiler exchange. Is it a simple wiring error or valve not working correctly? Boiler is a glow worm ultracom 15hxi.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Get back those who fitted it for them to comply with their obligation of leaving you with a correctly functioning system.

They could have left it correctly working if existing controls have now gone faulty, expect to pay for a repair, ask them to come back if hes a nice guy he may do it FOC.
