I've had a new condensing boiler put in, after a couple of months it started rumbling a little when it shut down. That developed into rumbling when heating up from cold, only on CH mode not hot water. It's a glow-worm 30 hxi so I called glow-worm and they came out, under guarantee, and adjusted the gas valve which stopped the noise when heating up but it still rumbles a bit when shutting down. He's been out again and says he cant do any more it must be muck in the system. The plumber who installed the boiler did have to unblock the feed from the header tank when he refilled the system. So it sounds like it needs a bit of cleaning.
Having read some other people's experiences of power flushing, It may create more problems. All the rads get hot and basically it works and I've taken a sample from a rad and it's slightly yellow (like weak urine!). Is a power flush necessary? Or would a cleaner/ sludge remover and drain down be any good? The system is 15 rads and a hot water cylinder, the pump is a new Grundfos UPS 15-50 is it powerful enough? So, before I spend £450 on a power flush I want to make sure that's what is needed.
I'd be grateful for any advice on the matter.

You can have different jobs for different costs. I doubt you will get agreement from people about whats' needed. If your system is old enough, and needed the feed pipe unblocking then it probably needs cleaning. But some people might say through it away and start again. If it's 10 years old then £450 is less than £1 a week.
