Just had a call from a local conservatory company today looking for someone to wire their new conservatories.
They had been using the same guy for years and now couldn't!!
They had been informed by the local council that they HAD to use an aprooved certifier of construction to sign off ANY building warrant work, on the new system.
Called around three local councils to check- all said they would be asking for certifiers of construction.

Just got this nugget through the post
put it on my site
http://www.baldelectrician.com/buildingstds/warrant.jpg
easier to explain things to customers using thus sheet
it is more costly
to put a socket in a flat the fee (not including the actual work being done) is £100
