Hi,

I have a normal bulb in my room and want to replace it with a 4 bulbs ceiling light. Please see attached images. Not able to understand how to wire up.

Is the fitting second hand/ used previously ?
There isn't sufficient clarity of the terminal block ,and wiring at the fitting ,there appears to be some wires that are not connected to anything ??

Hi,
For a fitting like yours, I have used Greenbrook lighting connectors:
Basically, what is currently connected to the ceiling rose gets connected to the 4 terminals of the large block, and the fitting connects to the smaller block.
An additional benefit is when mounting and dismounting the light, you don't have to muck about with a screwdriver undoing terminals with one hand, while supporting the fitting in the other - just plug in and go.
Although you may need to make a larger hole in the ceiling to push the connector up into.

...and I have to say, some of the wiring on that looks a bit dodgy!
