I have just had to change out the pump due at my holiday home due to a leak resulting in it burning out the bearing & impeller. Damn shame as I put in a really good one Grundfos 25-80 and the system is only 16 rads on a 120 BTU oil burner and it is all only 3 years old. A cheap less powerful one (Salmson) has been put in as it was all that could got hold of locally (Rural Co Kerry, reland) on the quick fro folks renting it. Any ideas on whether the grundfos can be renovated or what make model would you recommend. I do not want to leave the cheap one on to long and I could keep it there as a spare.

25-80 is a standard choice (I'm currently using one as a footrest  )
which usually lasts well.
The spec is here:
http://net.grundfos.com/Appl/WebCAP...&cpn=&freq=50&lang=ENU&units=UC_Default_Units

There are other pumps of similar spec sold by Wilo etc, but they'll be harder to find and "G" have the best reputation.
120kBtu is a bit big for a single ordinary 15-60, but not much. Check the curves, you could put two in parallel, with a non return valve in each. Apart from the cost of altering the plumbing, it would be cheaper.
