I currently have a Biasi Parva boiler that would appear to be on its last legs (comes on when you've switched it off, hot water out of taps isn't hot etc...etc..), and after having the circuit board and the heat exchange replaced it's still not working properly so I'm thinking I need boiler altogether!
Can anyone recommend a good combi boiler?
It's a 2 bed house with 6 radiators.
I'm happy to pay a bit more for something that will last (the current boiler was fitted by the previous owners in 2002 so i'm thinking it was cheap if it's broken already!), but have no idea how much I should be looking at to buy and fit it...
Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Even the cheapest boiler should last at least 10-12 years if fitted correctly.

If you can't find an engineer , other than the stupid parts changer you had previously who has ripped you off, I would suggest calling Biasi direct.

Thanks for this - much appreciated! I actually have a British Gas homecare agreement and I've had two separate engineers out to me saying that different things are wrong with the boiler - one changed the circuit board, and the other said that the heat exchange needed to be changed, or I needed a 'powerflush' or a new boiler.... (no doubt trying to get more ££ out of me!), so I'll get them out again and mention this - it'll be interesting to see what they say!

Your boiler is only half way through its life expectancy! On a clean system its a very reliable boiler.

If you have a BG contract then pester them to get it working properly.

If they continually fail then call me and reclaim my costs from BG on account of their inability to fix it. They get a commission if you order a new boiler from them !!!
