HI
I WONDER IF ANYONE CAN OFFER ME ANY ADVICE. I HAD A NEW CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM INSTALLED A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. THE BOILER IS A VOKERA 25 HE COMPACT COMBI. THE WATER TEMPERATURE ONLY GETS TO 49 DEGREES AND I AM ABLE TO HAVE A BATH WITHOUT PUTTING IN ANY COLD WATER, WHEREAS OTHER PEOPLES HOT WATER SEEMS TO BE ROASTING HOT. ALSO I HAVE TO RUN THE HOT WATER IN MY KITCHEN FOR AROUND 5 MINUTES BEFORE I GET THE HOT WATER. CAN ANYONE ADVISE WHAT THE CORRECT WATER TEMPERATURE SHOULD BE APPROX. THE PLUMBER WHO INSTALLED IT CANT FIND A PROBLEM APPARANTLY BUT I AM DUBIOUS ABOUT THIS.
THANK YOU IN ANTICIPATION.

Firstly turn your caps lock off

A combi boiler is only designed to raise the incoming cold water by 35C at the designed flow rate. In your case it would be no more than 10 l/min.

The cold water temp in my area this week is around 9-10C, so anything over 45C would be deemed as working correctly.

You will have to reduce the flow out of your hot tap to get hotter water for your bath.

Why did you go for a small powered combi?

I never fit less than a 31Kw for the exact reasons you state above.
