seasons greetings. I had a new boiler (ideal c28), pipework, rads etc installed recently and all worked fine untill this morning. no hot water & cold rads.
there is gas, water & electrikery to the boiler but it will not light. the pump feels a bit warm & turns freely. fuse on pcb is ok, water pressure is ok but temp bar reads about 10 deg. trv's are on med. i bled some air from rads but was minimul.
any ideas or help much appriciated.

Certainly but I guess you're cold and can't wash and the guy will be unavailable!
1) There's an automatic air vent, near the pump with a tyre valve type cap on it. Make sure it is LOOSE.

2) I don't understand what your system pressure is. It should be about 1 bar cold.

3) Ask your installer what output he set up for the central heating. He should have done that but a lot of people don't. That may mean it will overheat and lock out if you have say a small flat.

4) You should have been left (by law) the installation and service instructions. Look for the bit where it talks about the three diagnostic led's which are on the pcb inside, over to the left. You have to flick a switch on/off to make them function. They will give you a good idea what's wrong.

5) look hard at the outer end of the flue. Albanians put them in wrongly, with the inner part put in from the outside, which is wrong and will cause trubbble.
