Hi guys,

I'm re-doing all the drainage for a 4 bedroom house that's just had an extension.

This inspection chamber is private and the new drainage is going to be connected into it.

Now then this is my question. As you can see a very poor connection has been made to the side of the main channel. This is in a similar location and orientation to the new connection I want to make.

The building inspector states that he's happy for me to bring a new 110 plastic pipe in and cut to the line of the channel. Then bench round.

However, I am somewhat displeased with this as I'd like the invert level of my new connection to be the same as the channel (bottom).

So what's recommended,
Install slipper bend ontop of channel?
Dig channel out, install channel junction?
Bang a plastic pipe in cut neatly to channel?
Dig the hole lot up and replace with plastic inspection chamber?

Cheers
