New cool roof coating on existing aluminium coating

Hi, I have a modified bitumen flat roof with old aluminium coating. The existing coating has come off from some places. I am planning to apply another coating on the roof and wanted to know I can choose any kind of elastomeric coating for the roof, or I have to go with aluminium coating only since the existing coating is aluminium coating.

Can't be a genuine yank as he has spelled 'aluminium' properly.

As long as the current aloomium coating is sound and the elastomeric coating has solar reflective properties it will be fine
