My new Firenzi FIDW42 is a "built-in" d/w. The door cover hasn't been fitted yet, and although I'm sure the weight of the door will help I can't imagine that it will allow the door to lie at the fully or even half open position whilst I load and empty it.
New D/W door is VERY tightly sprung
