new dishwasher got me confused

just brought an Indesit IDL 705 dishwasher ,my first one ever, but in the manual book it says, at the end of a wash cycle.....TURN OF THE WATER TAP???????????????????????????? .
is this normal. do all dishwashers need to turn of the water. if it is it's going back.
please advise me

its called covering their (insert word) it should be done with all appliances but the truth is no one does. Its so that if the fill valve "goes" it wont flood your room
