Bought few months back a straight trv drayton trv4, and got around installing it last weekend, however i noticed when the trv is closed (with white cap) there was a bit of water in the head abour 1/6 of the cap i would say, when the trv head is there in frost mode, there was a bit of water seeping from the head (not from the compression fittings or radiator).

Is this normal, all my other draytons are always dry its not something i ever noticed, or do i have a faulty seal?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for that. I had chome trvs that leaked a tiny bit at the top, but the Drayton always felt dry. I just wondered if missed something installing this one.

I will replace the gland seal and hope it fixes it.
