Hi roofing experts,

Could do with some expert opinion regarding new flat roof on my side utility area. Builder had used existing boards and put new felting on top yesterday.

As I look at it this morning, very light rain has caused some pooling. But my main issue is that there does not seem to be a fall here. The overlapped felt is creating the water from moving. The drainage is towards the skylight which is yet to go in.

Any advice and opinions would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks

The felt should overlap the drip edge not under...thats the problem.
Not all builders can roof.

It's not a drip edge . It's an upstand so irrelevant .
If it's a new roof structure then more run could have been provided .
Ponding isn't really an issue .

Doh, thought that was a lean too going into a felt gutter.
