New fireplace and wood flooring

Hi,

I am having a new fireplace fitted including, marble hearth, mantel, I am also having wood flooring fitted in the same room.

My question is should I put the hearth in first and then put the flooring in, so I lay the flooring around the hearth, or should I do all the flooring first and then put the hearth on top of the flooring ?

Fire place sounds 'heavy', placing that on top of the wood floor will prevent normal movement and could cause problems with the floor.
Install wood floor around the fireplace, leave wide enough expansion gaps around.
