Hi there,

We are just about to lay new floor boards in our kitchen, do anyone know of a good way of making them look as if they have been there forever. (We can't get reclaimed)

Many thanks

Pine is a softwood, they will look 'aged' and destressed' in no time. Stain (colour oil) them in a kind of Oak honey colour to make them stand out, makes them a bit darker without turning too orangy

i agree with the above,if your doing any plastering afterwards,my exp is plasterers do a pretty good job at ruining a good pine floor
