New Home Heating Making Floor Creak

Hello All,

I hope someone can help me here, I have just moved into my brand new home and when the heating comes on early in the morning or in the middle of the night if it gets too cold, my floor boards creek lots and pop when the pipes are expanding it wakes me up.

Can you tell me if this is just normal and should be expected or I should speak to the home builders and ask why they haven't laid the pipes with the correct wadding around them to stop them rubbing in the wood.

Yes get back to the developers,maybe get an independent visual.audible report to back up your findings.Very important.
