Moved house and totally lost to on our heating/HW system.

There is a sealed system boiler (potterton promax SL) and 2 unvented 120l water cylinders.

5 bedroom, 3 floor house. 3 shower rooms.

Unsure if the cylinders are linked or work separate.

Also noticed pump is always running

Its a bit of a jumble. Difficult to work out what's doing what without being there. Your best bet, in my opinion, would be to pay a heating engineer an hours money to assess the system and talk you through it. That should also highlight whether there is a problem with the pump. It would be a good idea to get all the valves and controls labelled up to avoid the need for faffing about when something does need repairing.

The Tundish in your 3rd pic looks like it has been getting water backing up, you should check it out

Got an engineer coming Monday to service boiler and the 2 cylinders.

Figured the pump is always running when HW is on even when the boiler isn't heating HW.

Do the cylinders work in tandom draining together or separately?
