new hotpoint washing machine black streak marks help

all my white and light coloured washing has very black streak marks all over washing ,is it machine , or in the cold feed water coming in, put white cloth where water enters no collection of black particles ,what is it , second new machine same make etc all my bedding now covered in black mascara type streaks, any ideas
