Q1- Since new combi boiler installed I can hear trickling water inside 2 rads, I have bled all rads many times and still getting air from upstairs.
Q2 - It now take ages to get hot water to the taps kitchen and bathroom (downstairs) I think he's connected via the old tank piping in the loft so slows it down.
Q3 - His new piping in the loft is white pvc which just arcs across half of the loft unclipped and taking up more space than ever the hot tank did, was he just lazy or a complete knob.

1) Water noise in rad will probably be the valve. Where is the new boiler? How large a property/number of bathrooms?

2) If the boiler is in the loft then understandable to connect to the original HW supply that would have been from the old cylinder. If it isn't and it's downstairs then absolutely no reason to connect via the HW pipework in the loft. The nearest downstairs sink HW supply would have been my choice.
3) No reason for piping not be be run correctly and clipped properly. Needs to tidy his work up, no reason not to insist

Hi Madrab, thanks for getting back.
Boiler is a Logic Max Combi2 C24
Boiler sited in ground floor kitchen, 2 meters away from the sink but hot water takes an age and even longer to the bathroom
Small 3 bed semi, 1 ground floor bathroom. Boiler services just 6 rads and hot water, no shower.
Thought the connections were wrong and badly fitted, unfortunately I wasn't there at the time (hospital) and he doesn't answer his phone.

If that's the case then no reason it shouldn't have been connected directly to the sink and from there automatically to the bathroom - depending on what's between boiler and sink of course. Then it would be just cut back and cap the pipework to the loft

No shower, just a bath? Do know given it's a combi it will take a good while to fill the bath up.

If you can't get a hold of him has all the paperwork been completed and boiler registered and notified to LABC?

No bath just a good electric shower cubicle fortunately.
I'll have to check the paperwork.
Thanks again, you've been a great help.
