Hi, newbie here...
Recently (2 months ago) had an Ideal Vogue installed in the loft to replace an ancient 40 year old cast-iron job that had passed away.
Been working fine until last Sunday. Woke up cold, pressure gauge at zero, dashed round the house checking rad valves but all ok. Re-pressurised system and boiler fired up ok and all seemed ok. BUT, noticed a dripping from the left rear corner of the boiler and damp insulation. I put a pot underneath and phone Ideal.
He couldn't find anything wrong with the boiler and said water was probably rain ingress from the flue and pressure drop from a rad or under the floor.......hmmmm.
Monday, all was well.
Tuesday cold. pressure at zero and my 1 litre ice-cream carton was full and overflowing. re-pressurised and ok. phoned again.
Wednesday, no problem.
Thursday, cold, pressure at zero and 2 litre ice-cream pot nearly full. 2nd Ideal guy arrived later.
Spent some time and could find no source of a leak within the boiler. Said water was from incorrectly fitted flue and no answer to loss of pressure.
Friday - need a wee in the night and checked pressure at 0500 (have webcam and long cable for remote watching of pressure gauge) it was at the bottom of the green, so shot up into the loft and saw my bigger 5 litre pot was filling up and water dribbling at a fair old rate from the left rear corner. I sat and watched the water coming out and the pressure dropping at the same time so I reckon that "flue ingress" and "leaky rads" can't really be the problem as at 0500 it wasn't raining, the boiler had been off since 2200 and was seeing the water comming out and the pressure dropping at the same time. Phoned Ideal again and due next Wednesday.
Friendly local installer came out and like the two previous Ideal engineers could find no sign at all of any water or traces in the boiler.

Any suggestions most welcome as I'm begining to get fed up (and cold).
video of the leak and contents at
although by the time I videoed it, the drip rate had reduced.
Sorry the long winded post...

The first port of call, should be the installation engineer. There is obviously a leek of some kind, whether this is down to internal components of the boiler or inlet/outlet pipework or flue would need investigation. But don't rule out the possibility that the leak is coming from elsewhere, but tracking down the boiler casing.
Pressure loss is a concern though, has the expansion vessel been checked?

Incorrectly fitted flue could be leading to condensate water coming back down if seals are not in properly, although if this is the case I would have AR your boiler if it showed up in a flue gas analysis which I'm assuming the 2 engineers carried out.
Leak may still be on pipe work under the floor at a joint as you have sealed an old open installation which may not cope with the increased pressure.
If boiler pressure put up to 2bar and boiler turned off for a while does water still pour out?
If not then it is probably condensate. If water pours out then leak in boiler.
Not best way to test but will give you an idea

Thanks for the thoughts. This is what is making me wonder though .....(friday in 1st post).

0500 in the morning, boiler been off since 2200 the day before. No rain or wind. Water dripping out of left rear of boiler and getting to around 2 litres after an hour and stopping. Pressure gauge drops to zero in this time. 0800 back in the loft, re-pressurise, a few drops, boiler fires up and working fine all day. Much the same story this morning - 2 L of dribbled water, zero pressure, fill up and works all day.
