I recall Ventnor, IOW .. from the '60's (Bobby Dillon n'all) .. My friend had a great local .. late Sunday lunchtime, engine roars into carpark, air horns in discord, screech of tyres .... Landlady hastily pouring double G&T ... Twas the vicar arriving.. They know how to run a local down south .. especially off-shore.
