I am building a single storey extension, which is currently a single concrete slab (150mm thick), I will have 2 internal dividing walls - non loadbearing.
I was going to do the internal walls in timber and plasterboard, but I have a feeling ive over ordered on the celcon blocks, and like the idea of a more solid internal wall for soundproofing purposes.
Is it considered OK to build a lightweight wall directly onto the slab, or should it have been thickened?
with thanks
Barry
