New joists in loft

This is my Loft, there’s no
Other like it ! Thank
Goodness lol any how i
Need to strengthen the joists I haven’t got the head height to lay
Them Above the old joists so will
To go next to them
Parallel.

The current joists are joined as shown in the picture
And these rest obviously rest on the wall plates, below the joining joists are stud walls which obviously are supporting the joist joints. Im
Needing to
Store a few things up there of
Various Weights and of
Course
Me When I go Up lol

If I was using 6x2. / 8x2 new joists will the stud wall Be adequate for me to join them in the same fashion?

Thanks to Tony1851, I've done the same; the floor is noticeably stronger, using joists that are far cheaper and more manageable.
