Hi.
We bought a new freestanding Miele Dishwasher, Model number G7130 around two weeks ago.
We had our usual plumber install it for us as we needed an elbow fitted to our inlet supply pipe to enable it to point downwards so the dishwasher Aquastop (solenoid) to work as the instructions.
We haven't had our plumber back as of yet, but just wanted to ask anyway.
During a wash cycle at times we get just for an instant, a single water hammer, but the wash cycle is fine.
I sat for three hours on the kitchen floor listening for them, and writing down the times they happen on the timer.
It only happens after it drains and then refills.
What I would like to know is, when I turn the washer on and start a brand-new wash cycle, I can hear the solenoid working in the Aquasafe, like the valve is opening to let the water in from the mains.
Does it close at the end of a wash cycle? Otherwise, why would I hear it at the start (with my head stuck in the kitchen cupboard)
When the water hammer's happen, it's not coming from it as there's no whir of the solenoid.
So does it close at the end of a wash cycle, then open at the start of one?
Thanks for any replies.

I can't help with your problem, but if you scroll down to the similar threads section below at least 2 other people seem to be having the same problem. Perhaps you should be talking to Miele.

Cheers for that, I'll have a read.

It does seem like it is closing, if the plumber doesn’t fix it, get Miele out under warranty
