New Mortgage Cancelled

got a call last night from a young lady who rents a rooms from me at my separate property.
"the oven is not working in the cooker, just wouldn't come on, put a pizza under the grill and that got burnt to a crisp so we had to chuck it!"
So I thought, this is not good, don't know much about electric ovens, going to cost me, may have to get another cooker, she's going to ask me to pay for the pizza as well.
Before I went round this morning I went into the local electrical trade suppliers "no mate, you won't get bits for cookers unless you order them from the makers!"
Got to the house, took in all my tools, turned the little knob on the cooker that sets the oven to manual - it works a treat now, Phew!

Sounds like she is someone with little or no mechanical sympathy. If I was you, I would remind her of the small matter of her deposit!

reading between the lines - she wants you to go round for a nice romantic pizza meal for two - followed by a quick shower - of course you've gotta be careful when she mentions that the bulb needs changing in the bedroom (and she'll hold the tourch!!!)
