I would like a phone, cheap ,dear, that sat in my pocket,shirt, jeans, coat, etc, that i can activate recording, so when i bump into the whatevers, remote would help.

Isn't it illegal to record somebody without their knowledge?

I was in a cathedral once, and there was a notice up, saying a film crew was onsite, and had to sign a disclosure, as I might appear in the background.

I believe journalists use (used) dictaphones, that are voice activated, presumably thesedays they are hardware based, and compact. Isn't there a Spy/joke shop off Central Drive in Blackpool that sells this type of stuff?
