New pull cord now bathroom lights only work if you switch on fan

I replaced pull cord for fan . I was sure I noted wiring of previous switch correctly.
I’ve put 1 red wire into com , 2 red wires into L1 and earth to earth . But now lights pull cord only works if you switch on fan pull cord . So you can’t switch on lights without fan . Please help . Thanks

Probably mixed up your red wires , the permanent live need to be alone, think you have separated them meaning your fan now has live to it instead of switched live .

Thanks I switched wires and all ok . But could have sworn I labelled them correctly before replacing pull cord . No matter all ok thanks again
