Hi there
Hope you can help me with a problem.
I recently had some new taps fitted in the bathroom - quarter turn off/on ones. The hot and cold supply to the bath taps and (new) shower go through a pump (well two actually, one downstairs and one upstairs). What seems to be happening is that all my hot water taps in the house now momentarily 'set off' the upstairs pump when they are turned on or off. I could understand this on the new basin taps but not on the others which are exactly the same. The problem seems to disappear if the bath taps/shower have not been used to a while (say 12 hours).
Is this normal or is there anything that can be done to overcome it? The pump is a bit noisy and I'm worried that continual off/on in short bursts will reduce the life of the pump.
