I'm currently in the middle of a roof replacement and have a question re: the cavity wall.
The roof rests on steels which are on the outer skin of a cavity wall (over 2x patio doors), as the roof has a slight pitch this has essentially opened up the cavity and brought it 'inside'. Is it acceptable to just extend the inner skin with bricks up to the new roof height to close the cavity or do I need to do anything else?
Hopefully the photo below clarifies.
Thanks
