Hi i wonder if anyone knows if this wrap around my chimney is correct as i have never seen this before???

The roofer who just installed my new roof I am not even sure what it is?
Plus roofer very hard to get hold of.

Is this normal or do i need to contact roofer as quote said Lead chimney x2.
or would the lead be underneath this ?

Yes Paid them.
No not cheapest quote.

It is Flashband and if you are lucky you may get 5 years out of it but that is a bad job even for Flashband and not snug to the surface, way too deep and it's just wrong full stop. There is a lead apron underneath it and most likely the soakers are in but It should be done in Lead. Seems unlikely that your "roofer" will be willing to change it so may just have to take a hit on this one and leave him a review that reflects his abilities on his website / Facebook etc...

I admire the optimism of my fellow posters (5 years ) but forgive me for being more realistic. I'd give it until the ink dries on the guarantee.
