Hi guys!

We've just had a new roof completed on our home, and I'm a little concerned that the slates look messy, and aren't flush to the roof. (Pictures below.)

Is this going to cause problems, or is this to be expected on a ~120 year old house?

Lack of grading and care.
The roof is shapely but with care it could be slated a bit better . And the ridge isn't great either .
Doesn't look a good grade slate either . Who provided them ?

The roofer provided them. Here's what he quoted for, if that helps. (Photo below.)

Do you foresee it causing serious issues? Or is it just a case of it looking a bit wonky?

Cupa is a decent slate. So the cockers are due to lack of care or skill .
It'll Likley be fine just look "wonky"
The chimney has not been pointed (yet,) the the ridge has open butt joints
Code 6 lead in the valley that's surprising on a house . Not a negative

Why is there still a bonding gutter? I suspect the apprentice did some of that work!

I did wonder about that too.
Slate size either different or batten gauge . Who knows

While this is possible, it looks from the photo like all the courses pretty much line up to me!

Looking again , the only courses that connect the properties are the top few above the dormer and behind the chimney.
Therefore the there was no need for the bs/g
