I have a manual shower over my bath, a dial type (round). It has separate hot and cold feeds to it. The pipes are concealed in the airing cupboard just behind it and the dial is flush on the tiles.

It is about 12 years old now and drips a bit under the control wheel.

If I am to change it will a new similar style shower mixer (dial type) have the same dimensions/hoile for the mixer? Otherwise what can I do ...?

Any advice would be good.

Thanks.

If yo have access to the pipe work behind then it should not be a problem,
at present there is a standard import (italian/Chinese) manual valve that most manufacturers are using which has 60 - 65mm between two female 1/2" bsp connections facing right and left also there is the 150mm centers that were used 5 years ago still available, the front plates can cover any difference in the hole sizes.

If you put an image on this site I will try to point you to the best replacement.
