i am putting in a new shower room. the plumber half installed but is non contactable so trying to finish myself. i am worried about sink and bath waste.
sink is 32 mm standard trap, vertical drop 40cm, 90 degree elbow, 40cm, 90 degree elbow, 50 cm, 90 degree elbow, 1metre, 90 degree elbow, 20 cm joins 40mm shower waste. total 32mm 2.5m fall 7 cm and 4 90 degree elbows.
The shower has macalpine low profile trap runs 80 cm turns 90 degree at T joining 32mm, 40 mm 5cm 90 degree elbow straight run 2.3m. total run 3.15m fall just over 7cm. then 45 degree elbow downwards, and 1m 45 degree fall before joining soil stack.
Alot of this is already in and under fixed in shower.

will this work will i get syphoning etc.
i cant change the 32mm run but could at a push take out the 2 90 degree direction changes on 40mm pipe.
any ideas
cheers jon

I think you may be worrying unduly.

;)

Should drain away no problem as you have achieved your 1 inch fall per metre. :D
