Hi, have replaced my kitchen sink for a stainless one and fitted a new mixer tap, single lever with extending spray hose. Has 3 flexi hoses on base of body.
Question is: hot and cold water isolated before work, new isolators fitted (as builder neglected to do so), when work done all ok but the pressure of hot water seems to be less than before and is definetly less than cold (which seems ok)
Rest of hot/cold throughout house is ok, no leaks, is it just the kind of tap??

Any info appreciated and hope the info here is enough.

Cheers

Could be that the new mixer is designed for high pressure use only, or that you have used 15mm ball-o-fix type isolaters. These reduce flow as internally they are only about 6mm diameter.

Thanks for reply, my thoughts were that it is the tap reducing flow. Its not bad, just slightly less than before and we have a HW tank with no pump.

Cheers
