I have a broken spring on my PSK160 Segenia tilt and glide bogie thingy. The company I bought this door from sent me a new model of the spring saying it will fit, but I am not convinced. I attached the new spring which is https://shop.siegenia.com/siegenia/...el-tilt-and-slide/SPRING-1-ARMED/p/319454-001

Does anyone know if the new spring will fit on the door which normally takes the old spring (seen in the other pic I atached). I cant seem to wrap one end of the new spring about the rivet as was the case in the old spring.

The old sping is https://www.ebay.com/itm/231979958938

thanks for the reply, I was starting to think i am the only one in the world with this problem.

when you say unwrap the new spring. Do you mean to spread the rectangular loop which is at one end? Or unwind the circular multicoil spring in the middle? I would assume that you mean the rectangular loop. I had actually thought about doing that.

I attached a pic of what the new spring should look like on the door that I was sent. Unfortunately, I cannot tell heads or tails from it.

Another question. Do you have to remove this PSK160 from the door to put the spring on?
