Hi,

Assuming the spigot is the bit that goes through the bottom of the ceramic water tank? The one I have removed measures 2 3/8" the hole in the ceramic is 2.5".

Fit a two inch. The washer is over 3 1/4 inch in diameter and the backnuts similar. Should fit ok if centred properly. The one muggles linked to from fluid master should do the job. If the backnuts a bit small ,fit a metal plate (from a close coupler kit) ,used as a washer.

Thanks Terry, I have the Pro550UK but its the fitting underneath thats tricky as the nut almost goes down the hole. I will use a metal plate as advised cheers.

Should I be using silicone or not on these parts?

Thanks guys, I fitted a new doughnut washer and metal plate with my PRO5500 unit and so far so good.

Next issue... The water inlet ball valve isolater seems to have developed a leak, see picture, it seems to have a short bit of pipe fitted to the top of it to extend it. I cant solder etc so id there a good solution for a diy'er here please? maybe a flexi fitting with a isolation valve in it?

Thanks

Will do thanks. One more question, when I tighten the top nut on the isolation valve the whole pipe spins, how do I avoid this please?

Will the valve come off the plastic pipe ok? can I reuse the plastic end? What connections either end should the valve have please?

Valve will come off, but do you need it to?
Yes you can re-use plastic end, if required.
1/2” top end which connects to fill valve, 15mm compression other end.
