New upvc door needed

Hi Guys, I'm after a new door & frame for my conservatory and would like to know if it should open in or out. It opens in at the moment but I would have more room if it opened out and folded back onto itself.

Are there any rules.

can you explain a little more please, half windows? my doors open, with a restrainer on top, which i can uplug, and the door opens wider(both), but catches my ledges, doors are about, 4.5 feet wide, complete.

Suppose i can cut the ledges back?

Conservatory, bottom stub wall, top windows on a sill. The doors open outwards, past 90 degrees foul the sill.

Bet the fitters couldn`t fit a french letter Probably would foul the brickwork too - even if you tapered off the cill
