Hi. I have a Bosch drum type washing machine that I'm trying to make use of, but not as a clothes washing machine. So, I've taken out the control panel, envisaging a home-brew panel that pretty much simply turns on the motor and enables speed variation of it. But, I am rather stuck on what purpose this washing machine could be put to. If I cannot figure something I'll junk it and use the motor for something. So, any ideas what this washing machine could be made into? BTW, I'm not talking about a purpose for the drum, I mean a working machine. Thanks. Rich

Here is a short list of things that came to mind, involving use of a working machine: rock tumbler; dryer; spin dryer (set for long time spin drying); sifter, centrifuge.

The drums do make good incinerators for the garden...

Build a safe into it, no one is gonna look in a washing machine for your valuables :)

People used to make polishers out of old washing machine motors- like grinding wheels but with buffing mops

They make great firestands for the garden. if it's possible to keep it on the belt wheel and have it spinning, so much the better
