hi so got a disabled adaptation wetroom fitted a few weeks ago,it has a preformed tray that is recessed into the floor then vinyl floor cover over whole floor. Now this has a 90mm waste but rather than a trap this has a horizontal flap which is always covered with water. Now if I turn shower on to a more forceful flow my bathroom floor fills up with water and eventually I have to stop the shower when the water reaches the threshold bar at the door and takes a few minutes to drain away.
So is this normal with a wetroom instal and any info on this trap ?
Thanks

Sounds like the waste is restricted somewhere along its run, time to get someone in to blast it or rod it

Not normal at all ,should drain adequately. Contact installers and request they remedy the problem .do not meddle with anything yourself ,you shouldn't have to.

oops, missed that part re the new install.

Yup, +1, get them back in as the waste should be able to handle at least as much water as the shower can deliver at max output
