New Wooden External Doors

Hi,

I currently have UPVC front and back doors. They don't work properly and i would ideally like to replace the with wooden doors.

Now i am a complete DIY novice and this is our first house so please be patient with me lol!

If i buy the wooden doors, where do i get the frames?!

And then do i get a carpenter to fit them?

Will my walls inside be ruined?

Ask around for recommedations for carpenters, once you've found one you like either ask him to show what doors he recommends or show him pictures of the style you like, choose a door and frame, leave him to fit it.
I would expect you to pay at least £200 for the labour but the door and frame price depends on your specs.
Well done for choosing wood over plastic.
There may be some making good but it's impossible to say.

My OH is a bit of a handy man and he has done everything he can with the doors, they're just rubbish!
