The above cooker would fire up, but simply stay at 'idle' with barely a pilot light showing in the burner.
I have now replaced both the thermostat/regulator and the flame safety device on the above cooker. Both were done on the advice of the New World 'help line'. Replacing the thermostat did absolutely nothing, the flame safety device has improved things, but not 100%. It will fire up ok and the flame builds up. After a couple of minutes the flame reduces again and is high only on one side of the burner. I guess it is operating at about gas mark 4/5 even on mark 9.
Anyone had similar problems or got any ideas?
