New World Gas Fire Help Please

I have a New World Domestic Appliance gas fire and it needs serviced. We moved into the house 6 months ago and there was no manual for this. The independant engineer we called out said that the coal are placed incorrectly and that we need the manual to fix it. The company no longer exists and I have searched online for the manual, with no luck. Can anyone help?
The info on the sticker under the fire says Powerflame Brass Black, GFR1004, 86/AS/475

I would find yourself a new engineer, Its an easy appliance to service maintain and just needs someone who knows what he,s doing.

Unfortunately you cannot service a gas fire with artificial coals unless you have the MI's instructions on where they should go, exactly. I have looked at my software for the manual and I don't have it, I have looked on line and it is not in existence. Therefore my advice is buy a new gas fire, they are not that expensive. It cannot be serviced. All gas fires seam to do this, stop production and make it impossible to service to sell new ones.
