just out of interest, forums that use this software all pretty much work the same, reading also helps.

because admin chose to remove the option.

If you think about it, not all people get on with all people, so some would undoubtedly send abuse to some one they dont like.

I have my email adress in my profile, i often get questions emailed asking how do you do xyz, i always giive the same reply (almost) "please ask on the forum as it will benefit others and you may also get a different opinion"

now imagine what would happen if it were pm's also i think it uses more bandwidth, which has to be paid for, i have never seen a pm with a paid for ad.
